Guadalupe Huizar Gutierrez November 5, 1945 - October 21, 2021

November 1945 – October 2021

Guadalupe was born in Rancho De Dolores Jalisco in November of 1945. He is survived by his wife Reynalda Gutierrez; sons Jesus and Juan Alberto Gutierrez, both of Modesto, also Elvira and Guadalupe Jr. Gutierrez of Stockton.; and siblings Eloisa, Ana Maria, Josefina and Amelia.

He loved the title Grandpa or better yet Bompa and especially loved his grandkids from Stockton to Modesto. He enjoyed spending time with them and would do anything for all his kids. He was a musician; he learned to play the guitar at age 5 and loved rock n’ roll and golden oldies.  He enjoyed Little Anthony and the Imperials, Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers, and Mary Wells. He played Musica Norterna for most of his mid-age life with Los caracoles de Durango. He enjoyed los ponchos, Carlos y jose, Los 2 gilbertos, but what my dad loved the most was his family. He loved my mom and always watched over her. He took pride in his work at American Chevrolet and was a loyal employee for 15 years where he retired. He loved working and taught his kids hard work, manners and respect. He loved his kids and he always made sure to check up on them and his grandkids and wanted to help his family anyway he could, even while battling cancer.

Faith he always had, but towards the end of his days he learned how to use it to overcome many strongholds and the Lord did a great work in him in this time. He loved God with all his heart. He knew that his hope and salvation was in the Lord alone. We will never forget the lessons he taught us, who he is, and will never stop loving him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 5pm – 6pm at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1pm, also at Allen Mortuary, with a graveside to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Once you have submitted your condolence, it will be approved by our staff during office hours, then published on your loved one’s page.
