He enjoyed taking the family on travels to Montana, Kentucky, the 1996 Olympics, along with almost yearly camping trips in Pinecrest. One of his most treasured memories was the religious experience he shared with Pastor Chuck Roots, his daughter Monica and his new friends in the group, traveling to Israel.
