In loving memory of Herlinda Ambriz, born on March 02, 1924, in Tendeparacua, Michoacan, Mexico. She grew up in Tanimireche, Michoacan, and spent her formative years in Chucandiro, Michoacan, Mexico, a town eternally cherished in her heart. Herlinda peacefully departed her earthly journey at her Turlock, California home on January 17, 2024, surrounded by the literary works and blooms she dearly loved and held dear.
A beacon of warmth and wisdom, Herlinda devoted herself entirely to her family until the very end. She married her soulmate and late husband, Jesus Lopez, in the town where she was raised and will find eternal rest—Chucandiro, Michoacan. Together, they shared a life that blessed them with 22 children, 37 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Herlinda’s legacy of love and strength lives on in the hearts of her children: Teresa (Pablo), Honorio (Yolanda), Eugenio (Maria), Salvador (Lourdes), Guillermina (Luis), Mario, Rocio (Javier), as well as the numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
We will gather to honor Herlinda’s remarkable journey at Allen Mortuary, 247 N Broadway, Turlock, CA, on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 6:00pm. Burial will be in Michoacan, Mexico.
