Ignacio (Tony) Mireles February 1, 1957 - March 23, 2022

February 1957 ~ March 2022

Ignacio Mireles, or Tony as many knew him by, has passed away at the age of 65. He was born in Texas to Anasacio and Maria Mireles. He worked in construction for 30 years as part of the laborers union local 270, and had 5 children, Angela, David, Guillermo, Luna, and Gabriel. He was a great son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He loved helping people, classic cars, playing pool, and listening to oldies. Although he is gone, his memory will live on with all who loved him.

Ignacio is preceded in death by his father, Anasacio.

He is survived by his mother Maria, his five siblings, his children, and four grandchildren.

Once you have submitted your condolence, it will be approved by our staff during office hours, then published on your loved one’s page.

Uncle Tony The Player as he liked me to call him. He was the most kindhearted man you’ll ever meet. He was a humble man, someone who would give his shirt off his back with no questions asked. Always willing to help anyone that needed help. I will always cherish the memories that I made with him, from going to the bar with him, shooting pool, and many adventures in the bars. Working on my old school cars, an even just the good ole war stories, and advise he would give me on life in general. One thing I can tell you is that he loved all his kids more than anything. He even loved all his family even if some didn’t reciprocate that same love and respect back. Uncle Tony “The Player” will forever remain an award-winning uncle, I will always remember him as my favorite uncle. He might be gone, but his legacy lives on in many lives he affected, especially mine.

    Uncle Tony,
May You Rest Easy Tio and I will see you on the other side

Tony, or Tio Tony, as my babies referred to you, we will miss your genuine warmth & fun humor. I will forever be grateful for that summer when you brought our niece over every day so she could babysit for me while I worked. You were an important part of the village that every working mother needs. You always made us feel welcome & you had such great advice. We love you and we hope that your Angel wings are in Raider colors!
