Jack Miller September 15, 1936 - March 12, 2025

Jack M. Miller was born on September 15, 1936. He was the youngest son of Archie and Effie Miller, both deceased. Jack graduated from Turlock High School in 1955. He worked on opening day in 1955 at Disneyland. He served in the US Navy for two years. After a short time at MJC he attended barber college. He married Linda Nunes in 1961. He began a long career at Mission Linen, retiring in 1998 after 30 years.

Jack was a proud member of the Denair community, spending time helping establish the Denair Community Center, Denair High School’s Football Field, and other school functions. He was a lifetime member of the Denair Lions Club and also a lifetime member of SIRS 143. He was a member of Knights of Columbus.

In his retirement Jack enjoyed: traveling, tending to his fruit trees, spending time with family, and watching S.F. Giant and 49er’s games.

He passed away on March 12, 2025 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Linda, and his three children: Shelby (Ron) Kusch, Lynette Rocha, and Chris (Kelli) Miller. He will be remembered fondly by his eight grandchildren: Tyler and Kyndel Kusch, Jordan (Erica) Rocha, Lauren, and Landon Rocha, and Christian, Ellie, and Caden Miller. He will be forever remembered by his sister Mary (Doug) Meiners from Inverness, Florida. He was preceded in death by his brother James Miller and sister Marjorie ”Tinker” Shouse.

A visitation will be held March 18, from 4-6 pm, followed by the recitation of the Rosary at Allen Mortuary, 247 North Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on March 19 at Sacred Heart Parish in Turlock, 1200 Lyons Ave. Turlock, CA 95380. The burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, for those who desire, donations in Jack’s name may be sent to the Denair Lions Club or a charity of your choice.
