Condolences

Jason Cooper of Modesto, California has passed away at the age of 34. He grew up in Modesto with his siblings Jesse and Carrie, graduating from Downey High School in 2009. He attended some classes at Modesto Jr. College, and worked as a Landscaper for about 10 years.

Jason loved his family, his son Philip, his mom Cynthia, and his dog Sissy. He was a fan of gaming, music, Star Wars, attending concerts, watching Anime, going to the ocean, and was a cannabis connoisseur.

Jason is survived by his son Philip, mother Cynthia Cooper, his siblings Jesse Rangel and Carrie Gann, sister-in-law Stephanie Rangel, brother-in-law Parker Gann, his dog Sissy, many nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Fly high Jason. I didn’t know what to say. I’m so sad for your family. Levi is working real hard on that song. He’s going to show your mom when he’s got it all down. He’s doing great so far! Lux is working on a surprise for your mom too. The boys are so glad they got to see you one last time. I know you’re with Grandma Barbara. Say hi for me. You will be greatly missed.

I met Jason when I was about 13 years old and a freshman in high school and we were friends ever since. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. He was one of the best of friends a person could ask for. Always thinking of others. Glad to have known him as long as I did. This isn’t goodbye this is a see you later! We’ll catch up again one day. Love ya bro we will miss you!

Met Cooper when I first move to Modesto about 10 years ago, and since then i would see him at least once or twice a week, he was a great person and a great friend. It feels surreal not seeing him anymore I will always miss him saying “stay stoney my dude” my prayers and condolences to his mom, son and all his family 🙏

Jason and I met a few years ago and we became FAST FRIENDS. He was the R2D2 to my C3P0, the Rick to my Morty, the Reg to my Rico truly my partner in crime. I could not have asked for a better friend. Jason was the kind of person to try and always find a way to help his friends and family. The universe has a new explorer. A great friend of 16 years and someone I’ll miss dearly. Loved when he came by my house and all of our debates. I’ll always miss him walking through the door and his catchphrases. You’ll be missed Jason! Can’t wait to catch up with you again one day.

Jason and I met a few years back through mutual friends. We dated for a short time, but we became very close and I loved him dearly. I will miss him everyday. My deepest condolences to his family, Cindy, Carrie, Parker and Jesse.

I first met Jason back in elementary school at Rose Avenue, and we remained close friends through early high school at Downey. Throughout those years, we cherished many memories. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his unexpected passing. I extend my love, prayers and condolences to the entire family, especially both Cindy and Carrie. May he rest in peace.
