March 31, 1929 ~ October 30, 2021
Jeannette Arlene Murray Maier was born on March 31, 1929 to Everett Lyle and Mildred Ina Murray. During her happy childhood, Jeannette lived with her parents and two sisters, Oleta and Virginia, on the farm in the home that her parents built on Faith Home Road in Keyes, California. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1947. In 1951, she graduated from San Jose Bible College (now known as William Jessup University) with a 4-year degree. Jeannette lived most of her life in California. She returned home to Turlock in May 2014 to live at Covenant Living. Prior to that, she lived in the Santa Cruz, California area for 44 years. She is survived by four adult children Kathleen Musitelli, Pamela Nichter, Julie Silvey and David Maier; 10 grandchildren Amanda, Zachary, Lynette, Lindsey, Levi, Luke, Lisa, Amber, Brandon and Daniel and 11 great-grandchildren. Jeannette was the last of the Murray family to “graduate” to heaven.
A family gathering is planned for Jeannette’s birthday this coming spring.

November 8, 2021 at 6:38 pmJeannette was a dear friend. We sang in the choir with her at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos for 13 years. She was a member of our in home Bible study “small” group for 8 years. We shared many laughs together along the way as well as carrying each other’s burdens as we upheld one another in prayer. She served the Lord faithfully in many quiet ways. Today she is enjoying the rewards of her faith. May God bless her memory and comfort her family as they grieve their loss.

November 7, 2021 at 9:26 pmJeannette was our next door neighbor in Aptos. She was so quiet and considerate — a truly gracious lady. I helped her pack up her car on her last day here and was sorry to see her move away. May she rest in peace.
