En el año 1969, emigro con su mama de Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico a Turlock, California donde trabajo como gerente en Foster Farms por 25 años.
A Jorge le sobreviven su mama, sus queridos hijos Jorge Alfonso Herrera, Rafael Jesus Herrera and Xochitl Herrera, sus nietos Natalia Herrera, Rafael E Herrera, Jaime R Herrera Jr., Alyssa Herrera, Fabian Herrera, Xiomara Herrera and Ivan Herrera, sus bisnietos Samia Herrera and Angelo Herrera y sus dos hermanas Maria Del Rosario Herrera, Victoria Herrera y los otros 5 hermanos que viven en Mexico.
Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, su hijo Jaime Raul Herrera (fallecio 2021) y sus dos hermanos.
La Visitacion/Rosario sera en Allen Mortuary 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA el Martes, 17 de Diciembre 2024 de 5pm a 7pm y el Rosario empezando a las 6:00pm.
La Misa/Entierro sera en La Iglesia Catolica Del Sagrado Corazon 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA el Miércoles, 18 de Diciembre 2024 a las 10am y despues de la Misa sera el Entierro en el cementerio de Turlock Memorial Park 575 N Soderquist Rd, Turlock, CA
Jorge Luis Herrera, 70, passed away December 11, 2024 at his residence in Turlock, California. He was born to Alfonso Herrera and Luz Maria Funetes on June 23, 1954. He immigrated with his mother from Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico to Turlock, California in 1969, where he worked as a lead for Foster Farms for about 25 years.
Jorge is survived by his mother, his loving children Jorge Alfonso Herrera, Rafael Jesus Herrera and Xochitl Herrera, his grandchildren Natalia Herrera, Rafael E Herrera, Jaime R Herrera Jr., Alyssa Herrera, Fabian Herrera, Xiomara Herrera and Ivan Herrera, his great grandchildren Samia Herrera and Angelo Herrera and his sisters Maria Del Rosario Herrera, Victoria Herrera and his 5 other siblings who live in Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father, his son Jaime Raul Herrera (passed in 2021) and two siblings.
A Visitation/Rosary will be held at Allen Mortuary 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA on December 17, 2024 from 5 to 7pm with the Rosary starting at 6pm.
A Funeral Mass/Graveside will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA on December 18, 2024 at 10am with the Graveside to follow after mass to Turlock Memorial Park 575 N Soderquist Rd, Turlock, CA
