Feb. 1955 – July 2018
Joseph D. Medeiros, Jr. passed away on July 19, 2018. Joe, an only child, was born in Gustine, CA to Joseph and Carol Medeiros in the winter of 1955.
Joe was known as a “Jack of all trades” as he could do anything. A carpenter, Joe worked in construction for over 40 years. Joe had an ornery streak but he also was a deeply caring person. A huge Giants fan, Joe also was into the 49ers and loved to play poker, ping pong, darts, golf and softball. Joe will be tremendously missed by his family and all who knew him.
Joe leaves behind his spouse Jeannine Merchant; children Jason (Tina), Chris (Becky), Joshua Medeiros and Tonya Merchant; six grandchildren Jesse, Caitlyn, Justin, Jacob, Joshua and Felisha. Joe is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA. Memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, 2201 Euclid Avenue Hughson, CA. 95326.
