Joseph Paul Armendariz was born on May 4, 1981, in Fremont, CA. Joey went home to be with Jesus on September 27th with his family by his side.
Ceres was his home for the majority of his life. He graduated from Ceres High School in 1999.
Joey held various jobs. He worked for Ceres Unified School District, Outback, La Parilla, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Flight Attendant, Safeway, DJ at MJC, Apple Store, Stance, Fed Ex, and Disney Cruise Line. Joey made friends from all over the world working these jobs. He was loved by all of them.
Joey enjoyed dancing, singing and being silly. He loved family gatherings and being with his friends. For him, everyone he knew became family. Joey was always the life of the party. Joey walked in Love.
Joey is survived by his loving father and mother Lorenzo and Nancy Armendariz, his brother Tony and his wife Isabel Armendariz, his brother Andrew and his wife Trina Armendariz. He has four nephews and one niece who he loved dearly, Andrew, Jacob, Justin, Jeremy, and Isabella. His aunts, uncles, cousins, grandfather, and many friends. And last but not least his trusted sidekick, his French Bulldog, Scooter.
There will be a celebration of life service for Joey on Friday, October 21st at 11:00am. The service will be held at Shelter Cove Community Church, 4242 Coffee Rd. in Modesto.
A Reception after the church will be held at the Stanislaus County Veteran’s Service Office, 3500 Coffee Rd. #15 in Modesto at 1:00pm.
