Julie Ann Mesa May 9, 1962 - December 24, 2022

Julie Ann Mesa, 60 of Modesto passed away on December 24, 2022, in Tucson, Arizona.

Julie Mesa was a dedicated and hard worker at Stanislaus Foods Product for 24 years.
She was a selfless person with a goofy personality who warmed the hearts of people she crossed paths with.
She enjoyed life best with her family and being able to get together for family gatherings and random trips like going to the beach, camping, casinos and swap meet. She was titled as a mother and grandma, but more considered like a best friend they can confide in.
Julie’s family meant everything to her, but most of all her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is going to be deeply missed from the ones that loved her the most.

She is survived by her children, Rosario Turley of Modesto, Julie Rodriguez of Modesto, Claudia Aleixo of Modesto, Rudy Gonzalez of Modesto, Crystal Obando of San Diego, Benjamin Obando Jr. of Modesto and Clarissa Obando of Turlock. She is also survived by her father, Sergio Garcia of Turlock and her siblings, Stella Jimenez of Turlock, Nellie Moralez of Modesto, Mary Mesa of Modesto, Christina Mesa of Modesto, Raymond Mesa (Chito) of Turlock and Manuel Mesa of Turlock.
She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Julie is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Obando, her parents, Raymond and Rachel (Rodriguez) Mesa as well as her sister Ramona Mesa.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, January 19 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. A funeral will be held at 10am on Friday, January 20th also at Allen Mortuary. Burial will follow at Ceres Cemetery.
