Kenneth Charles Sparks passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on April 20, 1940, in Arizona during his family’s journey from Texas to California, Kenneth’s life was filled with love, dedication, and countless cherished memories.

Kenneth graduated from Livingston High School in 1958 and later spent time in Los Angeles, where he developed a lifelong passion for baseball, becoming an avid fan of both the Angels and the Dodgers.

In 1965, Kenneth married the love of his life, Betty Hunt. Together, they began their life in Delhi, California, later moving to Concord, where they welcomed their sons Brian and Nick. The family eventually settled in Turlock, California, where they welcomed their youngest son, Michael, and spent over 40 wonderful years building a life together.

Throughout his life, Kenneth held many professions, including roofer, almond rancher, and landlord. However, his true passions were found at home—watching sports, following NASCAR, and enjoying daily crossword puzzles. His pride and joy was his 1957 Thunderbird, which inspired him to join the T-Bird Club and share his love of classic cars with fellow enthusiasts.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Betty Sparks; his son, Michael Sparks; his grandson, Random Sparks; his granddaughters, Mariah Henry and Hannah Sparks; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, William Sparks, and his sisters, Mary Johnson and Pat Smith. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Brian (2007) and Nick (2005).

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at a future date.
