Kevin was born March 29th, 1971. He attended Denair schools from kindergarten until graduating in the class of 1989. Kevin was an avid sportsman through school. He held records in track, football and baseball. He received a scholarship to Ohio State for his football skills and had articles written about him in the paper regularly and also in the California football magazine. His friends refer to him as a ‘Denair legend.’
Kevin has three boys, Kyle, Beau, and Zack. He raised four foster kids, Raymond, Noelia, Alexis and Billy. He adopted his stepdaughter’s children and raised them from infancy. Audrina, Ryland, Paislee, Bailey and JJ . Kevin has seven grandchildren. Noah, Karoline, Sterling, Viviana, Braylin, Lakoda, McKenna.
Kevin started working as a teenager at R and R disposal. Was a night manager of Raley’s. Heavy equipment operator in Tuolumne County. Heavy equipment operator for the state of North Dakota and owner, operator, mechanic of ‘Sierra off roads’. Kevin had a heart for every person he came in contact with and would help anyone in need. Kevin had a brain tumor removed in 2007 and two later treatments for brain cancer in later years. He was put on life support with covid a year ago and was still trying to get over the damages that it and cancer treatments caused to his heart and lungs. Kevin’s daily gesture was a big smile and 2 thumbs up. Kevin’s constant words are “Keep on Keeping on” and “Stay fired for Jesus” For Kevin’s whole life he has been a strong and faithful disciple for Christ and an encouragement to all that he prayed for daily.
Besides the above mentioned, Kevin is survived by his loving parents, Patrick and Loretta and his brothers Mike and Tim.
There will be a celebration of life on February 25th at 11:00 at Connecting Point Church of the Nazarene in Denair, Ca. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Brain Cancer research or charity of your choice.
