Kirk was surrounded by his loving family when he went to be with our Lord and Savior. He knew the path to eternal life was the love for Jesus. He is no longer living in the pain that held him hostage.

Kirk was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, Step-dad, Papa and great-Papa. He was born in Wyandoote, Michigan the youngest of 5 children. He grew up with dreams of adventures.  He quit school at the age of 17 and joined the United States Army in 1968. He earned his GED in the military. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was in charge of a supply center for the Vietnam War.  He was discharged in 1970.

After he got out of the Army he set his sights on California. Traveling all over and making many friends and having many adventures.  He lived many years in the Bay Area. Big Sur was his favorite place to be. As his travel around he became in love with the Harley Davidson Motor Cycle. On his Harley he made more adventure with going on bikes runs with friends and clubs around the country. He was the happiest when he was on his Harley.

Kirk was an Acoustical Ceiling Estimator for 45 years. He loved his job. Working until 2023. He was well known for knowing how to save money for the clients.  He has done jobs like the Levi Stadium and UCSF Children Hospital and many more. Kirk loved his wife and the life they made together for 18 years. His family was his main joy in life. He was known as the most kind man ever.  He will be missed by many.
