Lewis Gene Hardin, 79 of Modesto, passed away at his home in Modesto on October 12.
He was born on January 4, 1945, to Ernest & Mildred Hardin. He has lived in Modesto most of his life. He loved doing woodworking and playing the guitar. He loved his grandkids, Julie, Alitzel, Brian and Matthew. He enjoyed gardening and yardwork. He was great at the barbeque and enjoyed eating everything.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Joyce Dove and Penny Pritchard.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Hardin, his sons Matthew (Xochitl) and Brian Hardin, four grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
