Lloyd G. Fantazia passed away peacefully at his home in Hilmar on October 3, 2024, at the age of 89.

Lloyd was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. Lloyd was honored by the Government of the Republic of Korea as an “Ambassador for Peace”.

Lloyd married the love of his life, Maureen O’Sullivan, at the Carmel Mission in 1956. Following retirement, they enjoyed many years of RV travel to Yuma, AZ., Pismo Beach, CA. and to many destinations with their RV Club, the “Ghost Riders”.

Lloyd loved the game of golf, playing many great rounds with both friends and family. When not golfing or traveling he sang Western karaoke with many close friends.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Maureen; their daughter, Linda (Russ), son, Jeff (Koo Rye); seven grandchildren, Erin (Ryan), Russell (Kate), Sarah (Mike), Michael (Kim), Mark (Arminda), Mary and Michelle; his sister, Loretta Caton, and Maureen’s brother, Patrick O’Sullivan.

A funeral Mass, preceded by the Rosary, will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8471 Cypress St. Hilmar, on October 11, 2024, at 1 p.m.
