November 23, 1934 – February 14, 2025

Lois was born in Garden City, Kansas to Jesse and Ethel Garrett and passed away at the age of 90. She was married to Bobby Barnard in 1953 and together they shared 70 years of marriage. Lois helped her husband run the family business of almond ranching and raising steer for many years. She also worked for Haig Berbarian for several years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to sell their almonds, going to the casinos to play bingo and dancing to Elvis music. Her favorite outings locally included eating at their favorite restaurants Olive Garden and Huckleberry’s.

Lois is survived by her children Jeff (Odette) Barnard, Mike (Lori) Barnard, Linda (Dave) Wallace and Brenda (Jim) Spiegel; sister Patty Boerner; grandchildren Randy Barnard, Kevin Barnard, Colleen Johnson, Brian Barnard, Shelly Ray, Adam Wallace, Sara Ange, Nickolas Jorge and Devin Jorge; and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Barnard in 2023, her parents and 8 brothers and sisters.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 5:00-7:00p.m. Funeral service will also be at Allen Mortuary on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:00a.m. with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
