Lora Lynn Winters passed away at 62 years young. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Raised as a Catholic, yet she grew up with an open mind and view of the world and the universe. Lora lived in Turlock, located in California’s Central Valley for the last 34 years. She was married to Fred Winters, in a true fairy tail marriage of love and embrace. She loved her family very much. Lora worked as a home interior designer and in retail management. She had been in sales and retail for 25 years. She was a true friend, a caring mother, and a wonderful wife.

Lora loved the great outdoors, fishing, camping, and most recently glamping with jack in their giant ship the rvdancer. She was great at all types of arts and crafts, designing and painting. She raised and saved birds of all kinds including granny the pigeon, loved her fish pond and zen backyard. She enjoyed spending time with her husband Fred at the Manteca Moose Lodge where they made many friends. She loved her dog Mia very much. Lora always said she would come back as a hummingbird. She was a strong independent woman mind and soul until the end.

Lora is survived by her two adult children Jennifer Petersen and Kurt Petersen.

She is preceded by her husband Fred Winters.
