The world has lost a Bright & Shining Presence and Heaven has gained another Beautiful Angel.
Lorenza Gonzalez passed away on April 8, 2023 surrounded by her children and family peacefully around her bedside.
Lorenza, also known by many as Lori, gracefully fought the good fight. Her faith never wavered trusting in Our Lord’s plan for her life. Unfortunately, she was called home too soon due to complications stemming from her pre-existing liver failure condition.
Lorenza comes from a big family. She is the baby sister to six older siblings and being the baby only meant she was a daddy‘s girl always, but you’d never find her too far from her mother and that’s how she earned her nickname (kitty cat). Of course being the youngest she always got teased by older siblings, but it was all in fun because they all adored their baby sister. She always knew she could go to dad to protect her and mom to comfort their “Kitty cat “.
Up until her untimely passing Lorenza didn’t always have it easy, she struggled as a young single mother. She overcame her struggles when she finally dedicated her life to God, her children, grandchildren and family. She was always the one to have an open door to family and friends. She loved all her family including any extended family. She had a way of making you feel special, she wasn’t one to judge, she welcomed you with open arms. She was selfless, caring, compassionate, incredibly sensitive and independent.
Even more so she had the joy of devoting her life taking care of her youngest baby Franky who she wholeheartedly loved and was her lifelong bestfriend, you could always find her at the lake with her baby boy Franky. She loved planning day trips to the lake and inviting everybody that could show up. She was an amazing grandma, and will be truly be missed. Family gatherings and family game nights won’t be the same without her energetic, outgoing spirit.
She is preceded by her father Jose, mother Cruz Gonzalez, her beloved sisters Stella and Josephine, her brother Ignacio, and her soulmate Fransisco Avila .
Lorenza is survived by her children Felipa, Ana, her Frankie Boy Francisco Avila and her one and only daughter in-law Nichole Frisk, six grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Troy, Maricela, Christopher, Anthony and one great-grandchild Marcello, her siblings Belia, MaryLou and Jose Armando, her nieces, nephews and extended family.
