Lowell Hillerman, 93, of Turlock, passed away at Paramount Court on Friday, April 27, 2018. Lowell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earl and Mabel Hillerman on January 12, 1925. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served as a Radio Operator on a Liberty Ship. After his honorable discharge he came to Ballico where he was a farmer. Lowell belonged to the Ballico/Delhi Lions Club and was a volunteer Fireman for the Ballico Fire Department. He enjoyed sports and ran the Ballico Parks and Recreation Department for many years.
Lowell is survived by his loving wife Gwen Hillerman; two sons, David and Mark Hillerman; daughter, Janet Passarino; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Aileen Lang. He is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorial contributions can be made to Covenant Care Hospice, 125 Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380.
A committal service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, 2pm at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
