Marcilla Elizabeth Berry of Turlock, CA passed away comfortably at the young age of 44 surrounded by her family. She valiantly fought cancer for the last year of her life. Marci was an incredibly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and so much more. She had a generous, giving personality her entire life and was always devoted to helping others.
Marci graduated from Turlock High School in 1997 and shortly attended college before starting her successful career. She was the most hard-working individual and was employed at Turlock Auto Plaza for almost 20 years—the last 10 years as the business’s Controller.
She loved spending time with her family while doing escape rooms, puzzles, and playing board games. She also thoroughly enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, relaxing on the beach, and trying her luck at the casino. She was a very gentle soul and animals, especially cats, warmed her heart.
She is survived by her parents Arlene and Ken Hensley, as well as Larry and Durena Long. Along with her siblings: Bob (Nancy) Cardoza, Jeff (Breann) Long, Kenneth (Cristina) Hensley, Sheree (Chad) McDonald, Jamie (David) Little, Vanessa (Alex) Tuck, and Isiaha (Ashley) Long. She also leaves behind 4 children: Alyson, Julia, Joey, and Devon Berry—and 1 grandchild, Trynity Fulton. And, finally, she will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as her beloved Mikey Odom.
Though she was taken so young, she touched the hearts and changed the lives of many. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
