June 1949 – May 2020
On May 20, 2020, Margarita Cabrera passed away peacefully in her sleep with her husband by her side. She was 70 years old. Margarita’s greatest love was her family.
It would be wrong to say that Margarita lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Margarita stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Margarita. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her battle. Margarita was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others.
While Margarita’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Margarita in a way that honors her spirit.
Margarita is predeceased by her daughter Angelina Cabrera. She is survived by her husband Roberto Cabrera; four children Debbie Aguilar, Silvia Cabrera, Robert Cabrera Jr., and Marcella Cabrera; nine grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren and her brother Alberto Ramirez.
She will forever live in our hearts
