Martin Ray Mastas July 20, 1956 - September 14, 2021

July 1956 ~ September 2021

Martin was born in San Diego to Raymond and Marcella Maestas.  During his childhood he traveled a lot as his father was in the military and then they settled in Georgia.  Martin worked in the orchards in Georgia and became independent at a young age when he moved to Montana.  In the mountains of Montana is where he realized his love for the outdoors and nature.  He began a family and had three children.  Martin attended trade school in Idaho and became a journeyman electrician.  He worked as an electrician for thirty years in the Pacific Northwest, where he was an electrical foreman for solar farms in Mendota until his retirement.  He worked as an electrician with the I.B.E.W. brotherhood for 30 years throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Martin loved hiking, backpacking and was an avid outdoor enthusiast.  He also enjoyed researching conspiracy theories.  He will be remembered as a very social man who enjoyed being around people and could have a conversation with anyone he met.

He is survived by three children; five grandchildren; siblings and multiple loving friends.

Private services will be held.
