Maryann was born in San Francisco, California to Gunnar and Gerda Holmgren and passed away at the age of 90.  She enjoyed life best with her family.  She loved family gatherings, Sunday football cheering on her lifetime favorite football team the San Francisco 49ers and her day trips with her children, whether it be to the casino or just out for dinner.  She was a very selfless person.  She enjoyed the company of others and made sure everyone was happy, you never left her house with an empty stomach.  She was famous for her tacos, bean burritos, salsa, Swedish pancakes, and molasses cookies which she loved to make for her family as often as possible.  She was very much a part of her family’s day to day life activities up until her last days.  She is going to be deeply missed from the ones that loved her most.

Maryann is survived by her children Linda (Jim) Harwin, Teresa McGowen, Karen Stavrianoudakis, Tim (Cheryl) Lemas.  10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband,  Nick Gonzales.  Sisters Margit Young, and Marilyn Garrett. One grandson Shawn McGowen.
