Michael Lee Brandon was born in Los Angeles, CA on Nov. 10, 1956 to Jimmy Lee and Evelyn Brandon. He attended school in Los Angeles where he played the trumpet and harmonica. He graduated from Mission High School and went on to attend Job Corps to obtain his underwater welding certificate.
He was a nurse for years, but his true passion was to be a truck driver like his father. He loved his job with Flow Trucking and made friends with many of his co-workers.
Michael leaves behind his children Quawana Brandon of Shreveport, LA, Deshawn Brandon, Antwquan Brandon and Nashynda Rolland, all of Turlock, CA; father Jimmy Lee Brandon; siblings Patricia Gibbs of San Jose, CA, Marie Brandon of Oakland, CA, Wanda Brandon of Haward, CA, Stephanie Brandon of San Francisco, CA, Brenda Brandon of San Francisco, CA, Henry Cherry, Tyrone Derbigny, Michael Strong, and Kevin Canmmone; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Brandon.
Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Friday, October 15th from 5-7 p.m. A Funeral service will be held at Holy Grounds Ministry in Turlock on Saturday, October 16th at 11:00 a.m. Graveside will be held at Cherokee Memorial in Lodi on Monday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m.
