Monroe enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being outdoors. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles and car restoration. Monroe worked in the trucking industry for 45 years.
He leaves behind his children Angie Christopher, Jamie (Matthew) Chambers and Steven Christopher; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Jessie Christopher and two siblings.
Private services were held.
