Nadine M. Keller-Mckenzie October 7, 1963 - April 3, 2019

Nadine M. Keller-Mckenzie

1963 – 2019

Nadine M. Keller-Mckenzie, also known by her road name, Fire, was born October 7, 1963 to William and Violet Keller and was set free on April 3, 2019.  In her short 55 years Nadine was Mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She was proud to be every one and strived to be the best at each.  Nadine is survived by her son and daughter in-law Ryan and Rashelle Fields; granddaughter, Maddie-Lee; Brothers, Wade, Bill, Grant; and sister DeeArland.

Nadine loved people and always tried to help, comfort, and encourage as many as she possibly could.  Whether it was work, to playing sports, to traveling and riding her Harley Nadine put her all in everything she did.  Most importantly, to her, being a Mom was by far her greatest accomplishment and joy in life.  She lived life to the fullest and has left a legacy of strength, hope, and inspiration.  Her favorite quote she taught her son throughout her life was simply, “you can do it, I know you can!”

A celebration of life will be held in Nadine’s honor at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at New Hope Community Church, 3446 N Golden State Blvd. in Turlock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maddie-Lee’s education fund. https://www.gofundme.com/nadine039s-memorial-fund-madison-goes-to-college&rcid=r01-155467971232-717cf312c8f843e9&pc=ot_co_campmgmt_w

“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Philiippians 3:13-14 (nlt)

While I never got to meet you, my twin sisters went to school with you and visited you in your final years. They both spoke so highly of you as beautiful, kind and fierce. I did go to school with your sister DeeArland, who was also very sweet. Your mom was my yard-duty supervisor, whom I still remember affectionately because she made me feel safer. I later went to school with two of your cousins, Ron and Bob and onto college with Ron. May you rest in peace in paradise and your soul delight in your freedom; dancing as you join your mom. Your time was too short on this earth, but now you are an angel looking over the rest of your family.
