August 5, 1945 – July 15, 2022

Nola Reed passed from this life into the presence of Christ Jesus on July 15, 2022. Nola was a woman who loved her family and they loved her. She loved fishing and was a fan of cowboy movies. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy were shows that she loved to watch. She loved spending time with the family playing dice and cards at the table. She loved her family and wanted to make sure they were happy. She would call every couple of days because she wanted to make sure that they were ok, and she would tell them “I’m ok.”

Nola is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Martha Britt, her siblings Max Britt, Peggy Stout, Pauline Britt, Alene Brown, and Darlene Britt. She was also preceded in death by great nephew Kivan Joe Tyson, whom she helped raise. 

Nola is survived by her daughter Sandra Britt Ledford (John), granddaughters L’nyssa Ledford, Nai Saechao (Jose Aragon), great grandchildren Dante and Darren Aragon, and Shanya Santos, her great niece she helped raise. She is also survived by her siblings Gary Britt, Carol Trevino, Walter Britt and her beloved dog, Shelby.

Nola was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister. She will be missed.

Visitation will be held on July 25, 2022, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Allen Mortuary, with a funeral service to follow on July 25, 2022, at 12:00 pm.

    Mom I’m missing you. I always look at the recliner’ for you. I come home yesterday and the bathroom door is closed and I was about to ask are you ok mom. Going to your room breaks my heart. Mom I miss you and I love you…
