Norma Lindner, 91, of Modesto passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021. Born in Lubbock, Texas, she was the only child to parents Lee and Mary Armstrong. After relocating to California, she attended high school in Oakland before moving to Modesto. Following a career in banking and insurance, she lived on Maui, Hawaii, and traveled the U.S. in a motorhome for many years. She enjoyed listening to jazz music, dancing, and spending time with family.
Norma leaves behind her children, Tanya (Joel) Krick, Kurt Reaves, Pam (Wayne) Humphrey, Penny (Dan) Brownell, and Shelly (Steve) Smith; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Reaves; second husband, Craig Lindner; and daughters, Michelle Steinbacher and Shannon Reaves.
