March 16, 1947 – January 4, 2019
Norm Zelones of Modesto, CA passed away peacefully Friday evening after a battle with a virus of the lungs. Norm was born in Niagara Falls, New York, went to high school in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands and went on to graduate college with Bachelors degree in Business.
Norm’s bravery led him through the Vietnam War and then into his career in the airline industry where he was Vice President of Customer Service at AirCal. He moved to Modesto and began working at E & J Gallo Winery. He retired in July 2017 as a leader in the Telecommunications and Network Department after 37 wonderful years of dedicated service.
The most important things to Norm was family first, friends, his puppies, traveling, playing golf, coaching soccer and his cars.
After 22 amazing years of marriage, he is survived by his loving wife, Karin Zelones, his four children: Matthew Zelones, Matthew Lusk, Taylor Lusk and Troy Zelones. Services are scheduled for Saturday January 19th, 11:00 AM at The Gallo Center for the Arts.
Norm will forever be in all of our hearts.
