Ollie Freeman Combs
March 1941 – January 2023
Ollie Combs passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 81. Ollie was born in Oklahoma to his parents Ollie and Mary Combs. He worked at Gallo Winery in Modesto, CA for 29 years before retiring. Ollie enjoyed going to Tahoe as often as he could to play Craps. He was a collector of antiques and enjoyed unique clocks specifically. He also enjoyed decorating his home with the treasures he purchased. The most important thing to Ollie was spending time with his grandchildren/great grandchildren who he loved dearly. He never missed a chance to show off their picture or tell you about his days he spent with them.
Ollie is survived by his son Michael Combs (Cheryl); brother Larry Combs (Mary Lou); grandchildren Jynnifer Combs and Bryana Goblirsch (Lance Jr) and great grandchildren Mabel Mae Goblirsch and Waylon Michael Goblirsch.
Ollie Combs’ Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 11th from 12pm – 4pm at Oakdale Event Center, 357 N Eighth Ave, Oakdale, CA.
