Paula Choat, age 73, died from natural causes on November 24, 2022, at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, CA. She was born to Conrad Miranda, Sr. and Beatrice Miranda on June 5, 1949.
Paula graduated from Turlock High School. She met her husband Otheo Choat while working at Banquet Foods. They raised three children together, Otheo Choat, JR, Karen Navarro and Christine Alcantara. Paula and her husband love to go dancing, camping, boating, fishing, hunting and spend time with family together. They loved teaching and taking their nieces and nephews with them on their adventures.
She is predeceased by both of her Parents Conrad & Beatrice Miranda, two of her brother Conrad Miranda Jr and Gabriel Miranda, one of her godsons Gabriel Miranda Jr and one of her grandson John Fogle. She is survived by her beloved children Christine Alcantara, Karen Navarro and Otheo Choat, Jr; her grandchildren, Nicael Stratton, Whitney Chavez, Jorden Peters, Sandra Choat, Zackary Thomason, Alexander Alcantara, Brian Romeiro and Trista Alcantara, six great grandchildren (Jayden, Tanner, Riley, Max, Jr, Britton and Neveah), three brothers (Leonard Miranda, Michael Miranda & Dennis Miranda, Sr), two sisters (Andrea Pena & Theresa Chavez) and godsons Adrian Miranda and Alex Zavala.
Visitation will begin at 3:00pm followed by Paula’s service of remembrance at 4:00 PM on Friday December 9, 2022 at: Allen Mortuary; 247 N Broadway, Turlock, CA
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her honor to: Dementia Society of America.
