Pauline was born in Callaway, Minnesota to Christopher and Pauline Stregger and passed away at the age of 106 in Turlock.  At the age of one Pauline’s parents moved their family to Saskatchewan, Canada.  Pauline remembered when the weather would get to be many degrees below zero without water or indoor plumbing.  She had wonderful parents who taught her the importance of her faith in God.

She is survived by her brother Clarence (Jeanne) Stregger and sister Violet (Roy) Matthews.  Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Medeiros; step daughter Charlotte Kidder; siblings Emma Stenabough, Albert Stregger, Clarence Stregger, Pauline Stregger, John Stregger and Arthur Stregger.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.  A celebration of Pauline’s life will follow also on Friday the 15th at 3:00p.m. at Covenant Village of Turlock-Berg Hall.

    Rest in Abundant Peace Aunt Pauline. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and extended families. Although it’s been a most difficult year for the Stregger family we rejoice in our Lords glorious resurrection. I’m sure Aunt Pauline is ‘twinkling the ivories’ in heaven, playing a joyful song for all!
    Our deepest gratitude is extended to Barbara and her family for all the love they’ve shared with a most wonderful amazing lady.

    We have so many great memories and are remembering with a heart full of love for this wonderful lady we called Aunty Pauline. Bill and I had the opportunity to visit her, sometimes twice a year and her kindness, generousity, and love for family will never be forgotten. Although we are not able to be there with you at this time, I know you know how much we loved you, and the stories and memories you shared with us, will live on in the hearts of your family!!
    Rest in peace!!
    Mom is doing fine and will miss your weekly chats, but she knows you are where you wanted to be!!

    Our Pauline was truly an Angel on earth. Pauline loved her family and her friends were like family. She always appreciated the care and love she received at the Covenant Village. We will miss you, dear sister. We will miss your remarkable memory of the days gone by and ALL family events! God Bless you.
