August 1925 ~ September 2019
Pauline Osburn passed away September 11, 2019 in Modesto, California at the age of 94. Pauline was born on August 1, 1925 in Chandler, Oklahoma where she was raised until the age of 16 before she moved to California. She met Clyde Cruse at the Stanislaus River in California and he later became her first husband. They loved hanging out and fishing and really enjoyed each others company. Clyde and Pauline had five children together: Geraldine, Clyde Larry, Shirley, Deborah, and Robin.
In 1966 Clyde passed away in a tragic accident, leaving Pauline widowed. She later married to Roger Osburn on March 17, 1967 in Mexico. They loved to ride motorcycles and travel together. In 1986 they took on Roger’s grandson (Kirk) and raised him as their own. In 2007 Roger passed away in Turlock, California.
Pauline was again widowed but had her children and grandchildren there by her side. She really enjoyed spending time with her daughters (Shirley and Robin) and her grandchildren. She loved getting out of the house to go shopping. Some of her favorites places to shop were, JC Penney, thrift stores and yard sales. She loved going on girls trips, getting her hair done, clothes, shoes, jewelry, board games, and cards.
She lived a long life and enjoyed all of its moments. She will definitely be missed by all of her babies.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Robin, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children Geraldine, Clyde, Larry, Deborah and Shirley, who recently passed on January of 2019. Also preceded by her husbands Clyde and Roger, parents Floyd and Zola, her sister Opal, and her great great granddaughter Madison.
