Rachel Mendoza March 28, 1955 - October 21, 2023

Rachel Mendoza a beautiful, kindhearted, amazing human being. Rachel was born in Ceres, CA to
Josephine and Ruben Rodriguez. She was married for many years to Pedro Delacruz Mendoza who died
in 1996. She has one daughter Christina Casillas, two grandchildren Miguel Marin Casillas JR and Andres
Guadlupe Casillas, and she was blessed to see her great-grandchild Miguel Marin Jesiah Casillas. Rachel
also was a sister to three brothers Max Olvera, Edward (Red) Olvera and Ruben Rodriguez and one sister
Della (Chata) Rodriquez. She also has nieces and nephews that love and miss her dearly. Rachel had such
a kind soul, she loved animals. Her favorite animals were probably dogs. She had a dog named boy 1 and
boy 2. When boy 1 died, she got another dog and named it boy 2. She was loved by everyone that met
her. She was easy to talk to, funny and lovable. She would always see the beauty in everything. She
would compliment you even on your worst days, or to make you laugh she’d say you look like a case
today! She was a strong woman, who fought in life. She was on dialysis for 9 years and even though it
was tough, she always was happy to go see everyone at the dialysis unit. She always had a smile on her
face even though it was a hard time. She looked forward for her dialysis days. She is proceeded in death
by both of her parents, Josephine Rodriguez, and Ruben Rodriguez, by her husband Pedro Delacruz
Mendoza, her brothers Edward (Red) Olvera, and Ruben Rodriguez, her sister Della (Chata) Rodriquez
and her nephew Esai Estrada. She will never be forgotten, and always be loved and missed.
