Richard David Peterson June 24, 1939 - May 25, 2020

On Monday, May 25, 2020, Richard David Peterson, loving husband and father of four children, went to be with The Lord at the age of 80. Richard was born on June 24, 1939 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Herbert and Judith Peterson.  He graduated from Biola University in 1962 then pursued post graduate studies in the Chicago area where he became interested in sales and real estate development.  Returning with his family in 1972, he continued to be a commercial real estate developer in the area for the next 48 years.

On August 26, 1961, he married Marjorie Jean Pringle.  They raised four children, Mike, Jeff, Nancy and Brian and then welcomed their ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Herbert, and his mother, Judith.  He is survived by his wife, Marjory, his four children, his sister Gwen Yates of Turlock, his brother Gordon and his wife Sue of Villa Park, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 2^nd at Turlock Memorial Park for the immediate family.  Due to the current health concerns, no public memorial will be held.  Remembrances may be made to Turlock Christian Schools or Crossroads Evangelical Free Church of Turlock.
