Richard Lee Short, III’s life was taken in a sudden act of violence on June 11, 2018 in Turlock, California. He was 17.
Richard or “Bubba”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was born January 18, 2001 to Richard Short, Jr. and Christina Emana. He was the youngest of three children.
Bubba would have been a senior at Denair Charter Academy in August. He was a respectful and funny young man, a football player and an aspiring rapper. His passing has left a huge vacancy in the family.
Bubba is survived by his parents Richard Short, Jr and Christina Emana, longtime girlfriend: Marium Renee, 2 sisters: Christina Ontiveros and Delicia Short. Paternal and maternal grandmothers: Diane Maravilla and Barbara Emana. 3 aunts: Cassie Wendling, Tiffany Gonzalez and Monique Short. 4 uncles: Michael Short, Nicolas Short, Michael Emana and Richard Wendling and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary, Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 10am – 1pm. followed with the funeral service at 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow in Livingston Filipino Hall; 14335 Magnolia Ave., Livingston.
