Robert Jason Bolin April 5, 1975 - August 6, 2024

Robert Jason Bolin passed away on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at the age of 49. Robert was born April 5th, 1975 in Modesto, Ca to Debbie Mathis and Randy Bolin. Robert attended Riverbank High School, where he then graduated a year early with his GED. Robert worked in the dairy industry for nearly 20 years.

He met the love of his life, Shelly Yotsuya, in 2008 while celebrating at a Christmas party. They later wed May 12, 2012 in Hilmar, Ca. They enjoyed a happy marriage full of love and laughter in Turlock, Ca.

In addition to his wife of 12 years, Robert is survived and loved by his parents,  mother Debbie Mathis of Joplin, father Randy Bolin of Ceres and stepfather Bryan Mathis, also of Joplin; two daughters Mikyla Yotsuya, and Jenesa Reed, and one grandson Jaxon Carlos Montano, all of Turlock. Robert is also survived by many relatives and friends whose lives he’s shared numerous laughs and good times with.

Robert loved fishing, football, camping, lottery scratchers and spontaneous trips to the casino at any time of day. But above all else, he loved his family and friends. Everyone on the court would know if the Raiders won from him hollerin’ in the front yard. Anyone that knew Robert knew he could make a friend wherever he went, nobody was a stranger and he loved to make people laugh. Robert was known by many as the local Santa Claus during the Oxford Ct. train, seeing all the smiles on the kids’ faces would make his night. If you’ve ever been in their home, you know the warm welcoming that greeted you. It was a second home for many. Robert loved flowers and would pick or bring home bouquets for his wife. He would not want to see anyone sad but remembering all the joyful and good times shared.

Robert is preceded in death by grandparents Wauvanee “Bobbie” and Vernon Bolin.
