Rosie was born in San Luis Obispo, CA to Frank and Carmen Murrietta along with 13 siblings, 4 of whom have passed as well as her parents.
In 1966, Rosie graduated from Frederico’s Beauty College in Visalia, CA. She later moved to San Jose, CA where she met the love of her life, Jose Vasquez. They were married on August 13, 1966 and went on to have 3 children, Gloria (1970) Rachel (1971) and Daniel (1979). She later went to work as a Quality Insurance Technician at IBM from 1976 -1989. Additionally, Rosie went back to school at the age of 50 and earned her high school GED.
Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, daughters Gloria Vierra (Gary), Rachel Vasquez, son, Daniel as well as (6) grandchildren, Vanessa, Kaeli, Emily, Nicholas, Ally and Isaiah.
Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 12:00p.m.
Funeral service will be held also at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00p.m.
