Samuel “Ray” Best
July 1944 – July 2024
Ray was born in Modesto, California to Sam and Anna Best and passed away at the age of 80. He is survived by his children Laurie Bolton, Robert Best and Susan Cariker; siblings Barbara (Ron) Souza, Kathy Best and Lea January; grandchildren Justin Helms, Kayla Best, April (Mark) Parras, Troy (Sheila) Christopher, Toby Best, Tyler (Catelyn) Bolton and William Christopher; great grandchildren Rylee Helms, Parker Christopher, Sophie Christopher, Lillie Christopher, Hazel Parras and Isaac Parras. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna; his parents and siblings Eddie Best, Georgia Walker, Virginia Shaw.
Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 5:00-7:00p.m. with a graveside service to be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:30a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park.
