Shelley was born in Los Angeles on July 27, 1949, and passed away in Turlock, CA on September 24, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving partner, Ted Carroll, her devoted husband, Leo Gendernalik, her beloved mother, Barbara McGrath, her oldest and cherished daughter, Jennifer Reyes, and her brother, Mark Weiner.
Shelley is survived by her daughter, Amy Mundello (Don) and son, Jonathan Boyle (Jillean). She was a doting grandmother to Dustin Richardson (Renee), Allie Castro (Jonny), Breanna Cascia (Ryan), Trey Mundello, Sebastian Boyle, London Boyle, Mateo Boyle and Miette Boyle. She also took delight in her great-grandchildren: Dillynn, Lainey, Abel, Charlie, Stella and Samuel.
She loved cats, reading and plants. She was an enthusiastic Scrabble player. She enjoyed word searches and was a great cook. She was artistic and enjoyed making homemade gifts. She made beautiful, crocheted items and mosaic art pieces. Her most important legacy is her family, whom she loved spending time with.
She will always be loved and remembered. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 5th at Allen Mortuary in the Heritage Chapel, 247 N Broadway in Turlock. Interment will be private.
