Steve John Engel, a resident of Delhi, CA, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife of 65 years, Mona Engel, by his side. He was 84 years old. Steve was born on April 11, 1938 in Turlock, CA to Mike and Rena Engel. He devoted himself to his business, Steve Pump and Electrical. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and tinkering around his property.
Steve is survived by his wife Mona Engel; sister Marge Eggert of Chico, CA; two daughters Debra Ottman of Modesto, CA and Cindy (Ron) Alvis of Delhi, CA; grandchildren Melanie Ottman and Bryan Alvis (Erin) and two great grandchildren Parker and Ethan Alvis.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Service will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11am.
