Terrill W Hunter Jr. (Ty), age 59, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.
Ty was born in Fresno, Ca on February 26, 1962. Growing up in a military family Ty lived in many areas of the world. Upon returning to the states Ty graduated from Atwater High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force, continuing his travels and adventures. He returned to Atwater where he worked at JR Woods/Dole Processing for many years.
Ty loved his family and friends. He and his wife, Tracy, spent 18 years living their lives loving each other. Those who knew him loved him. His outlook on life was full of hope and positivity. He never had an unkind word to give and was quick to laugh and smile. Ty loved the outdoors; fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife Tracy; sons Brad, Levi and Atticus; father Terrill Sr., and brother Tim and family, and sister Trace and family. Ty was preceded in death by his mother Patty Hunter; son Aaron Hunter; and nephew Dominic Hunter.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday December 11, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Yosemite Church, 2230 E. Yosemite Ave, Merced Ca 95340. Ty will be laid to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella at a private service.
