I met Terry, I believe when I was about 20 years old. I was completely enamored by him!
I saw him as the Patriarch of his family. Actually, I was kind of in awe of him!
That very first night I met him, I loaned him my car! Crazy thing to do, for someone you just met?…
But I had this feeling in my heart, that he was a good guy, and I didn’t need to worry!
Next day, he was back with my car, and all was well…but he was so real, and so respectful, that he felt it necessary, to tell me, that a “minor problem” had occurred with my car, but he said not to worry, he “took care of it”… so im thinking, the engine blew up, or all the tires were flattened?…
    No, no, no…,
    here’s the funny part!…
He had locked the keys in the car! Lol!
He was so worried that I would be back before he got that taken care of!
    From what he told me,
apparently things got a little tricky…Lol!
But in the end, all was well, and the car was in perfect same condition, as it was when he borrowed it!
I trusted him from the day I met him, and he was always a man of his word to me! I could always count on him!
Many years later, when our paths crossed again, he was that same wonderful man, but better, though!
He was insightful, inspiring, encouraging,…I can’t say enough to his character!
He was one of those genuine friends, that are so rare!
When I was working for my Uncle Robert Gioletti, I told Terry, my Uncle was sending me to Truck Driving School to get my Class A license.
Terry and I both knew, that just cause i could pass the written test at DMV and got my Class A Permit, did not mean that I could drive! Lol!
I would ask him to come our to the Ranch, and ride with me, and help me learn how to drive.
I never did get the opportunity to have him teach me how to drive, …but whenever I talked to him he would always ask me, “so, did you get your Class A yet”? …I’d say, no, still working on it!
I still have my Permit though! Lol!
(I’m really a terrible driver, though, so getting a Class A license, like Terry had…well, probably not a good idea)!
Damn, I’m going to miss him!
My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family, all his friends, and loved ones!
    I loved him very much.
I respected him immensely, I am so very sad to lose him! He was a very dear friend!

I don’t know where to start. My big brother, the funniest guy I ever met! Biggest heart, would do anything for you if he cared about you. But if you crossed him, expect a ass beating for sure.
My brother was not just a brother to me, he grew up fast, and was like a father to me, he was my friend and my hero. Growing up he could do no wrong in my eyes. He was always there for me when I needed him. The last few years have very hard for him, after losing kelly. I can’t even imagine my life without you. I always thought you would just always be here….Fly high brother! I’m truly heartbroken…. rest easy until we meet again watch over brother like you always have. I love you!

I need to write something. I have no clue. This is like a bad dream.
When I used to sing, terry would stop by when I was writing song or in the middle of rehearsal and he would go and sit in the corner. We have the same conversation at least two or three times a month for a couple of years. he’d say, did you already play that one about mingling with the crowd? I would say, you mean One of Them Days? or he would ask me to, play that song about walking through burning sands, and I’d say, You Mean I’d Drink Your Bathwather Baby? Never failed. At least every other week or more. I would love to have that conversation again.
I would tell him that it’s coming up or rock it for him if it wasn’t.
In about 2014 I told him I was not in good health and besides getting too old and I was tired and I was going to quit because I didn’t have a guitar player anymore. He told me I should get a guitar and play for myself. I told him I was too tired anymore.
About a week later, he showed up with a nice electric lead and gave it to me. I cried like a baby and I rocked out for two years after that.
A couple of times I seen him when I was out or doing an after-party and he would be in the back and I wondered to myself if you did this on purpose or if it was a coincidence? He was always gone before we were done. He liked two songs and when those songs were done he was satisfied and on his way. That’s what I always figured. That guitar made me push myself a couple more years when I may not have. Now it belongs to my son. Who is very proud of it.
It appears that my comment has become more like a novel.
Good times. This won’t be an easy one. I’m going to miss you.
Peace be with you. And love to all that love you.
