Thomas “Tommy” Bert Newman, 80, of Morrisville, Missouri, passed away in Hilmar, California on May 12th, 2024. He was born on August 5th, 1943, to the late Willa and Thomas Newman. Tommy proudly served in the US Army. After his military service, he pursued a career as a mechanic and almond farmer, dedicating his time and skills to these trades. Outside of work, Tommy found joy in building hot rods and flying RC planes. His passion for these hobbies brought him endless entertainment and fulfillment.
A man of faith, he was a member of the Church of Christ in Turlock. Tommy will be deeply missed by his daughters Shannon and Sherry Newman, grandchildren Deanna, Natalie, Amanda, Sean, and Phillip, as well as his sister Sandra Wickstrom. Throughout his journey, Tommy was accompanied by his lifelong partner, Sandy.
His legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family, career, and hobbies will forever be cherished and remembered by those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held at the North Hilmar Cemetery on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 at 10:00 am.
