Virginia Sandoval Sierra, 77 of Turlock, CA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at her home. Virginia was born April 1st, 1946 in San Fernando Valley, California to Rafael and Catalina Sandoval and grew up in San Jose, CA as the 2nd oldest of fourteen children with nine brothers and four sisters. In 2009 Virginia moved from San Jose, CA to Empire, CA and resided there until she moved to Turlock, CA in 2014. Virginia enjoyed meeting her spiritual sisters for lunch and playing a card game called negative 15. She was known by her closest friends as one of The Golden Girls. Virginia was a devout member of Jehovah’s Witnesses since August 17th, 1975. She looked forward to her weekly zoom meetings with her spiritual sisters for her ministry. When she was home you would often find her writing letters to her neighbors to share her ministry and love for Jehovah. Her faith and dedication did not go unnoticed.
Virginia is survived by her five children Becky Rodriguez, Regina (Robert) Delgado, Raquel (Eric) Velo, Eferan Bara, Joel Bara, her precious dog Belle, eight brothers, three sisters and a vast amount of nephews and nieces who loved and adored her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Sierra of 16 years and grandson Francisco Navarro and granddaughter Marissa Velo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 24th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 1400 E Ave., Turlock, CA 95380
