September 1, 1941 – February 11, 2021
Yvette was born on September 1, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Florence English and Harold English. She graduated high school in Hawaii, then moved to Southern California at 19 years old. She married Theodore Elness in 1961 and had four children. She was a former sorority member of Beta Sigma Phi and held many titles in the Order of the Eastern Star chapters.
Yvette is survived by her children Mark (Lorna) Elness of Manteca, CA, Mike (Caroline) Elness of Manteca, CA, Monica (James) Sult of Quanah, TX, and Bryon (Melissa) Elness of Modsesto, CA, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Agar English.
Her kindness, generosity, and laughter will be missed by her friends and family.
A celebration of Yvette’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 25th at the Turlock Masonic Lodge, 108 S. Thor Street in Turlock.
